Residential Home Manager

An exciting opportunity has a risen for an experienced home manager to join an exclusive care provider in the Nottingham area.

My client is one of the fastest growing companies in the UK Social and Healthcare sector. As they continue to move forward and grow, they will maintain and build upon the high standards of quality care delivered from their highly trained staff teams whilst remaining flexible to the ever changing face of older people’s care needs in the UK today. My Client owns mainly residential care homes across the country and all of their care homes have built up excellent reputations within their local communities. This has been established through their commitment to the ongoing provision of dedicated quality care delivered within a high quality, yet homely environment.

An experienced and motivated individual is required to manage a large residential home which is registered to care for the elderly to include people living with a diagnosis of dementia within a warm and friendly atmosphere.
My client is seeking a strong, individual with drive and commitment who is seeking a new exciting challenge. Some one who is looking to take there career to the next level and achieve a real sense job satisfaction.

The successful candidate will have the following experience and qualifications:
• NVQ for Management
• Proven track record of successful home management
• Sound knowledge of CQC and Care Standards, health and safety legislation, safeguarding adults and equality and diversity awareness.
• Good knowledge and background of the care sector

Duties will include:
• Overall responsibility of the home
• Staff management/appraisals/Training
• Care plans/reviews/meetings
• Budget

In return the successful candidate will receive a fantastic comprehensive manager’s salary package, including:
• A basic salary of up to £35k - £40k
• Bonus
